In contrast to women, the skin of an adult man is around 20 percent thicker. The formation of wrinkles therefore begins later only for them, however, to be that much more pronounced. It is extremely noticeable when mature male skin begins to lose its firmness, elasticity and volume. As a result, the aging process can be effectively and with minimum effort stopped in its tracks. To keep a fresh, natural look, only specific wrinkles on men are for instance treated with botulinum toxin – the distinctive appearance of a man’s face is preserved.
